At its conception in 1975, founder Harvey Gross created Penfield as a practical brand that provided protection against the elements of New England weather. Gross was a pioneering figure in the American outerwear industry who championed the strength of down-insulated outerwear for decades. Their range now features experienced designers who know and love the outdoors with fashion, function, practicality and durability being the bread and butter for every style and item manufactured. More recently venturing into a full collection comprising of a wider range of garments such as t-shirts and hats, Penfield has managed to not only cement it’s place as a reputable brand for providing high-quality, durable and functional pieces, but also as a stylish brand that appeals to both a younger and older market.
